Sea Balance. Port Frejus 2023

In 2022 Rob was invited to create a large art installation in the Port of Frejus to be exhibited from August to November 2023. After visiting Frejus Rob decided to create a series of new site specific artworks that would convey our human relationship with the sea. The series of sixteen individual sculptures, some reflecting the coastal environment, some depicting visual references that link us to the marine life in the sea. Rob hopes that these new artworks will encourage dialogue and debate about our environment.

Still….. planned return in 2023

Still returns to Loch Earn

Still was created in 2014 for a specific location in Loch Earn in the St Fillians, commissioned by Andrew Low who owned the Four Seasons Hotel. The sculpture was on public display standing in the Loch a few metres from the shoreline. When Andrew sold the hotel the new owner declined the opportunity to buy Still and he was removed from the Loch in 2017

There was an immediate reaction from the public and the local community asking if Still could be returned for public view. Time has passed and the community of St Fillians have work tirelessly to have the artwork re-installed on the banks of Loch Earn. This summer he will be on view to the public, currently he is in my studio being prepared for permanent display.
